What's new Sunday? Happy Easter
I am cheating, because it is not Sunday here, but I know it is on the east coast.
This morning I had to work. From there, I got Mary and we went to the race track. The Beach Boys were performing after the races. I went in with $50 in my pocket. I gave Mary $180, plus I bought food out there. Plus I put $300 in the bank. Plus I still have $180 in my pocket. The best day I have ever had at the track. They have a bet called the Super 4. You have to pick the first four horses in the race. The bet is 10 cents. If you pick 4 horses, any order, it comes to $2.40 for the bet. I hit it the first time I played it for $14.80 or so. So, the next race I decided to box 5 horses (costs $12.00), meaning if any of the 4 come in the first four, you win. I picked my five horses and won. $287.00. The next race was zilch. The next race, I hit ANOTHER Super 4. $389.00. UNBELIEVEABLE!! I was betting $20 a race until we left. Lost most, collected on one other. But ended up winning over $750 total. Made sure I kept the majority, and as you can tell, I did (with the bank deposit, etc). Even let Mary buy 2 Beach Boys CDs and Tee Shirts. Oh, the Beach Boys sang two songs and then the rain came. We left, but we smiled.
So, what did you do?
Happy Easter.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
It was warm and sunny here. I pulled weeds, shopped for groceries, and made a few dishes to take to the Easter parties. Also went to Weigh****chers for my monthly lifetime member weigh in. Still maintaining! Life is good.
Congratulations on you wining at the tracks, George! Way to go!
I am having Easter here today--my first holiday since my lapbasn surgery on the 26th of March.
I am in the mushie food stage so I can have a little for dinner. I am not concerned that I can't have everything everybody else can. My son is cooking today. He is quite the chef. I amsure everybody will be happy. Well, Happy Easter to Everybody. Love, Nancy

I am cooking a wt loss friendly meal -- grilled thick pork chops marinated in a lime/jalapeno marinade, baked sweet potato, roasted asparagus, chunky applesauce, and s/f coconut cream pie. Also making hot cross buns (not WL friendly) but will send the left overs home with kids.
Have a wonderful day with your family, hopefully, and enjoy the spring weather.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Happy Easter!! Going to Church later it's only 6.20 here & was awake at 5;30 It sure
would be nice to sleep in for a change. Always wake up early no matfor ter when I go to bed. Too bad I don't have a job to go to. Margo I love mahjong, too & keep playing the same 5 games of the free games as can't afford to buy the full version. It's fun!!
My roommate (wants to be more) works today, his birthday is next weekend & will make cookies sometime this week,as he does not want a cake. Other than that, have
to finish a employment application to take back on Monday for another job opening.
Here's hoping & praying something comes along & quickly. Real tired of this unemployed status & no money thing.]
George Glad the track thing went will & sorry about the Rangers, but, it's still early in the
Season. Right!!
I've never bet at the track. The explanation of betting makes me glad I haven't. I never have luck with that sort of thing. I do enough damage on our yearly trips to Vegas!

Easter Sunday has arrived with rain and snow mixed...not unusual. I've always wanted to go to the sunrise service at Red Rocks. After all, the Red Rocks outdoor amphitheater is practically next door to our house. Waking up to fog, rain, snow and COLD every Easter, I've never gone..a pretty bad record for having lived here 29 years! I always opt for going to church in our dry and warm church building. We're off to a brunch tomorrow with my daughter-in-law's family.

Cheers, Rusty
